VIKING VENUS MAIDEN CALL AT DUBROVNIK PORT

On Sunday 18 July 2021, Dubrovnik Port Authority welcomed the newest cruise ship, Viking Venus,  first time calling Dubrovnik Port, on the way from La Valletta, visiting four Croatian ports, Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar and Šibenik.
The newbuild cruise ship was welcomed by the representatives of Dubrovnik Port Authority, who exchanged plaques with Captain Atle Knutsen, wishing all passengers and crew a nice stay in Dubrovnik and calm sea on their voyage.
Viking Venus is the seventh in a series of ten identical vessels built by Fincantieri for Viking Cruises in 2021. Like the sisterships from the Viking Cruises series, Viking Venus has a length of 227 m, GT tonnage 47,842 tons, max passenger capacity 930 and 465 crew members.
Viking Venus is scheduled for eight calls at Dubrovnik Port in the period from 18 July until 28 October 2021, as well as seven calls of sisterships Viking Sea and Viking Jupiter.
