On Wednesday 21 July 2021, Dubrovnik Port Authority welcomed the newbuilt cruise ship, Celebrity Apex,  first time calling Dubrovnik Port. The new Celebrity Apex started her voyage this year in June.

The cruise ship was visited by the representatives of Dubrovnik Port Authority, wishing the Master Dimitrios Kafetzis, passengers and crew a warm welcome on their inaugural call to Dubrovnik and calm sea on their way to Greek Islands.

With its 130.818 GT, the cruise ship measures 306 metres in length, accommodating 2.925 passengers and 1.000 crew members. Constructed at Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France, Celebrity Apex is the second vessel in Celebrity Cruises Edge class of ships, following the delivery of her sister ship, Celebrity Edge, in 2018. 

Celebrity Apex will call Dubrovnik eleven times this year in the period from 21 July until 30 September 2021.
