Dubrovnik Strengthens Its Position as a Significant Home Port Destination in 2026

Dubrovnik is further strengthening its position as a significant home port destination in 2026. A total of 461 cruise calls are scheduled at the Port of Dubrovnik, with 661,094 passengers forecast to visit the city throughout the year.
Of this total, more than 60,000 passengers will pass through the Port of Gruž as part of turnaround operations across 14 ships operated by 10 international cruise companies.
The largest home port operation in terms of passenger numbers is Marella Explorer 2, operated by Marella Cruises, which has been running home port operations in Dubrovnik for many years. This year, the ship is set to welcome more than 47,000 passengers. It is followed by La Belle de l'Adriatique, with a total of 5,220 guests, and Seabourn Quest, with approximately 3,000 guests in 2026. The remaining vessels include smaller ships operating in the premium, luxury and boutique segments.
Dubrovnik continues to attract renowned cruise companies from the premium and luxury segments, while the structure of its home port traffic further reinforces the city’s position as a destination focused on delivering a high-quality guest experience.
